Donations
Thank you for donating to the Point after Club.
We are a long standing Rehabilitation Program in Lawrence who serve individuals with a history of mental illness. The Club assists and supports our members, by developing opportunities in jobs, housing, education, and social/wellness activities. As part of a non profit 501c3 agency Mental Health Resource Plus Inc., your donation is tax deductible. We will pick up donations in the Merrimack Valley area.
Please review the list of items that we cannot accept:
- Carpeting/padding
- Televisions manufactured prior to 2005
- Dehumidifiers
- Household paints/or hazardous materials
- Furniture that is soiled or damaged or that needs extensive dismantling( such as bunk beds)
- Stuffed animals. The only exception is new with tags and collectibles
- Large household appliances
- Bed pillows
- Magazines
- Mattresses and box springs
- Plumbing supplies
- Swing sets and trampolines
- Tires
- Unframed mirrors
- Dropdown, side rail cribs
- Books must have a cover and no missing pages
- Audios/videos/DVD must be original. NO home recordings
- Dishes, glassware, cookware, etc must be free of chips and cracks
- Shoes should be in like new condition & have little to no wear on soles
- Used Lingerie, socks or underwear
Please do not leave donations outside of the building before or after donation hours. These items are stolen, vandalized and exposed to the elements which cause them to be unsellable. When making donations please keep in mind that all items should be clean, free of dirt dust or rust. We appreciate your understanding that we may not be able to accept items that we deem unsafe or unsellable. Accepting these items requires us to incur disposal costs which directly impact funding for our much needed programs. Your cooperation is appreciated in following our donations policies and procedures.
